This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place on 9th March 2022 and gave us a jam-packed two hours as we deal with the fallout from Revolution. But what were the five best moments of the night? Amber McCrudden aka Bam In Real Life gives you the rundown.
#5 Goodbye Inner Circle

After weeks of turmoil involving the Inner Circle, the group is no more. Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho faced off at this year’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view in one of the best matches of the night and by all accounts one of Jericho’s best in his career. The two rolled the years back with the two bringing everything they had to this hard-hitting match, but afterward, Jericho didn’t shake Kingston’s hand as he promised. Now the two face each other in the ring with Jericho apologizing to Kingston before turning on him and being joined by Jake Hager, 2point0, and Daniel Garcia, creating a brand-new faction, the Chris Jericho Appreciation Society. What does this mean for the two groups moving forward?
#4 Dynamite is Regal

William Regal made a surprise appearance at AEW Rampage on Sunday, coming to the ring to sort his boys out and make them hug it out. Regal is a man known for bringing people together and who better than his long-time friend Bryan Danielson and former rival Jon Moxley. Regal came out tonight and cut a long but beautiful promo inside the ring with Danielson, Mox, and Tony Schiavone. It was a truly emotional moment and it’s great that AEW has someone on board with the skills and experience of a man like Regal. It’s great to see him back on our screens, we love you Regal.
#3 Wardlow Makes A Statment

This weekend at Revolution Wardlow won the Face of the Revolution ladder match before seconding MJF. This was a big night for Wardlow who has been slowly becoming more frustrated with his treatment as just the mussel for MJF. Now we are at the fallout of the pay-per-view and Wardlow came to the ring to lay everything out. He is done with MJF and The Pinnacle, he wants to finally focus on himself and his dreams. You can’t deny a man this level of self-care and self-love, making this a huge development in the character we have grown to love over the last three years. He is going on to face Scorpio Sky for the TNT Championship and I get the feeling MJF might just ruin the night for him.
#2 The Hardy Boyz Are Back In Town

The last few months have been one of transition and change for the HFO, with Andrade El Idolo coming in as a co-owner and financial backer and Matt Hardy’s increasingly odd behavior. This week it all came to a head with the group meeting inside of the ring before Private Party turned on Matt and the group attacked him. There have been growing tensions for some time and this seems like what is best for business, even if it means that Matt is on an island of his own. Or so we thought….
Darby Allin and Sting appear, trying to help Matt before being beaten down by more members of the former HFO. Then, the moment we have all been waiting for, the iconic music of Jeff Hardy plays through the stadium resulti8ng in a huge pop from the crowd. Admittedly Jeff Hardy did the most Jeff Hardy thing you can do while your brother is being beaten up, and that is dance down the ramp to his music. The younger Hardy managed to fight off the former members of the HFO and then faces off against the young Darby Allin. Is this the start of a friendship or will it develop into a feud?
#1 NEW TNT Champion Is Crowned

Sammy Guevara and Scorpio Sky put on a barn burner of a main event for the TNT Championship. This was the most sports entertainment thing on the show but also had some fantastic wrestling and progressed the storyline between these two men. Sky has been undefeated for a year and by the end of tonight he will still be that way and the new TNT Champion, a goal he has been trying to achieve for the last year. Sometimes it’s best to wait for the perfect moment and Sky did here.
But this wasn’t the only thing that happened, Tay Conti came out to help her man, pleading with him to stop so he wouldn’t get hurt. This turn of events adds another layer as does the inclusion of MMA fighter Paige VanZant, who signed her AEW contract on the fallen body of Conti. These women will put on fantastic matches together too, lets’s just hope AEW gives these women the respect and time they deserve.
