AEW Dynamite: The Fallout from ROH Supercard of Honor

AEW Dynamite

AEW Dynamite promised a pay-per-view level card? Hell yes, it was. From amazing matches to some truly great promos, this episode of Dynamite was lots of fun and one of the better episodes of the show.

Christian Cage and Adam Cole Start The Night Off Right

Christian Cage has been extremely smart in his presentation since returning from retirement last year. He is the only man, other than ‘Hangman’ Adam Page to pin Kenny Omega inside of an AEW ring and has gone undefeated in singles competition since his debut. This makes him the perfect foil for Adam Cole BAY BAY and the right choice for what happens after this match. It’s a fantastic opener with both men showing off what they can do, seeing Cage getting to lock up with some of the best in the industry after being out of the ring for so long is an absolute joy. Adam Cole yet again proves that he isn’t someone to be messed with and gained the win over Cage.

After the match ‘Hangman’ Adam Page came to the ring, their hostilities haven’t subsided but only intensified with both men heading into next week’s Rampage. Their match for the AEW Championship will be in a Texas Death Match.

We Love & Respect Samoa Joe In This House

JOE! JOE! JOE! JOE!

Samoa Joe is back and better than ever, the great thing about his match against Max Caster to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Tornemnet is that he looks so happy. The Aclamined were on fire with their rap this week and Caster got a lot of offense in, but he wasn’t ready for the Muscle Buster. This was a great way to introduce Samoa Joe to AEW TV, so while we wait for the tournament to start we might be getting something else.

Jay Lethal turned heel at ROH Supercard and now has a bone to pick with Samoa Joe. It looks like these two men will be facing off in the very near future.

Jade Cargill Is That Bitch

Cargill just gets the business 100%, she has her baddies, she has the look and the mic skills but will she be able to defeat ‘The Problem’ Marina Shafir? Both women are currently undefeated in AEW so this should be an interesting match-up.

“I am here to formally introduce my Baddie Section. A baddie is a beautiful woman with confidence who knows herself. And I can say this to all you slobs because I know myself.”

FTR Vs Young Buck II: Electric Boogaloo

FTR Vs The Young Bucks headline AEW Dynamite

The Young Bucks and FTR gave us the second match in their epic saga and what a sequel it was. After having a MOTY contender at ROH Supercard of Honor against The Briscoes for the ROH Tag Team Championships FTR yet again showed why they’re the greatest tag team in the world right now. This match was a true fight and was set up after the ROH show when the Young Bucks attacked the Briscoes with FTR saving them. This was the main event of AEW Dynamite as it rightly should have been. It’s the best match on the show, these two teams have an insane amount of chemistry and heat between them, and on top of all of that, this was for both the ROH and AAA Tag-team Championships. Whatever I write will never do this justice so if you haven’t seen this please seek it out. FTR just put on two of the best matches of the year, so far, in less than a week.

Is there such a thing as a 10-star match? If there is, I think we just saw it
