Similar to the company’s output of PPV’s this years, TNA’s Plus Specials have ranged from forgettable to middle of the road to spectular, but which ones truly stand out bot for good and bad reasons.

This is Every TNA 2025 Plus Special ranked from Worst to Best…

#8. Sacrifice

As the ninth TNA Plus Special to be sold out in a row, Sacrifice took place inside the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso Texas with the show itself being an average night of professional wrestling.

Tessa Blanchard gave Léi Ying Lee the best match in the latter’s TNA career (up to that point), The Rascalz and Ace Austin won a six man tag team match against NXT’s Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe plus Steve Maclin defeated Frankie Kazarian in singles action thanks to the outside interference of Eric Young.

Heather and Ash By Elegance finally captured the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles with the help of The Personal Concierge in a 3-on-2 handicap match, Mustafa Ali sneaked a victory over Mike Santana, Moose retained his X Division Title against Jeff Hardy in a ladder match and the 10 man tag team steel cage match was a decent bout but was completely overshadowed by Ryan Nemeth and a returning Nic Nemeth brutalizing Matt Hardy after the match.

The street fight between Sami Callihan and Mance Warner felt flat and Masha’s title defense over NXT’s Cora Jade certainly felt disappointing considering the talent involved.

While not a memorable show overall, Sacrifice was still a decent few hours of wrestling.

#7. Under Siege

Similar to our previous entry, Under Siege was yet another decent night of pro wrestling however the card going into it looked pretty weak compared to Sacrifice.

Cody Deaner vs. Eddie Edwards, Masha Slamovich vs. Victoria Crawford (aka Alicia Fox), A main event tag match with essentially nothing on the line and The Elegance Brand vs. Spitfire for the dozenth time…Doesn’t exactly scream best wrestling event of the year.

So if some of the matches at first glance seem uninspiring, then why is this show not at the bottom you might be asking? Well, despite the middle of the road offering on the card, the show itself was filled with some memorable moments.

From KC Narravo possibly turning babyface, the System belitting Deaner who failed to save his job, Spitfire being forced to disband after losing their match and Ali traumatizing Tasha Steelz, Under Siege was very heavy on moments that would play out in the weeks and months that followed.

Also the matches themselves were fine, but it’s the moments that really elevate this show…though not by much.

#6. Victory Road

Often, the booking for these TNA Plus Shows can feel like there being made at the possible last minute, and that certainly was the case (at least for some parts) of this year’s Victory Road event.

One of the original matches set for this show was Ash By Elegance defending the Knockouts World Championship against former champion Masha Slamovich, but that didn’t happen due to Ash stepping away from in-ring competition and Masha being accused of Domestic Violence (and subsequently never being mentioned again). This all led to a battle royal and later on in the night, a title match between Léi Yǐng Lee and NXT star Kelani Jordan, with the latter emerging as the new champion.

What else was on the card you might be asking? Well the show kicked off with an impromptu six man tag match with members of the System beating members of Order 4, The Nemeths lost a tag team match to Matt Cardona and the Hometown Man, Joe Hendry defeating Eric Young, Matt Hardy beat AJ Francis in thrown together tables match, and Mike Santana was able to dispatch of Ridge Holland in singles action.

By far the best matches of the night include the aforementioned bout to crown a new Knockouts Champion, Mustafa Ali beating Moose, Frankie Kazarian winning the International Championship and the main event of Leon Slater versus Myron Reed for the X Division Title.

An overall middling show, saved by the second half.

#5. Unbreakable

Well at least this one was better than the 2019 version….

Another decent night of professional wrestling for TNA, however some of the matches on this card were better those at Sacrifice and Under Siege.

Moose defeated a debuting Sidney Akeem (aka Reginald aka Scrypts in WWE), the two tag team matches that had Rebellion implications saw the babyfaces come out on top and the action itself was pretty solid.

Sami Callihan put his feud with Mance Warner to rest after having one of the most violent and bloody matches you’ll in TNA (which is saying something) and after winning the last two qualifying matches early in the night, Steve Maclin and Eric Young fought A.J. Francis in a triple threat match to crown the first ever TNA International Championship with the former ‘forgotten son’ becoming the inaugural champion.

Outside of the constant showing of famous people who attended the event plus the crowd chanting ‘Racist’ and ‘Boring’ at one point during the mixed tag team and triple threat title match respectively, Unbreakable helped to further the company’s road to Rebellion during Wrestlemania Weekend…Also we got to hear from Chris Bey for the first time since his injury in late 2024, you love to see it.

#4. Against All Odds

Emanating from the Mulett Arena in Tempe Arizona, the fourteenth edition of Against All Odds saw some notable returns in the form of Killer Kelly as well as Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee (aka The IInspiration).

This show also provided some solid in-ring action which opened with Maclin retaining his International Championship over Mance Warner and an eight man tag team match which was won by the Hardys, Leon Slater and a debuting ‘Home Town Man’ (aka Cody Deaner under a mask).

The best matches of the night include The Nemeths and Masha retaining their titles over The Rascalz and Léi Yǐng Lee respectively, Mustafa Ali beating Jason Hotch in a real showcase performance for the latter, and the main event (while a little overbooked) did see Elijah and Trick Williams give it their all for the TNA World Championship.

The Robert Stone versus Santino Marella match was more enjoyable than it had any right to be and aside from an average bout between Kazarian and Joe Hendry, Against All Odds certainly felt like an improvement from the previous entries.

#3. Final Resolution

The first week of December turned out to be a great one for TNA; As Leon Slater was scheduled to take on AJ Styles in a tag team match at WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event on December the 13th and the Announcement of AMC becoming the new home for TNA Wrestling starting next year was met with almost universial praise…Oh yeah and the company had aired their last Plus Special of the year with Final Resolution.

Things got underway with Mike Santana beating Charile Dempsey in singles action, the IInspiration retained their Knockouts Tag Titles over Victoria Crawford and Tessa Blanchard and the same could be said for the Hardys who retained their titles over NXT’s Tyson DuPout and Tyriek Igwe.

The NXT invaders would score a major win on this night when Stacks defeated Steve Maclin to win the TNA International Championship and closed out the show punching Santino Marella (his soon to be father-in-law) in the face.

The Knockouts, X Division and World Title bouts were all good as was the Street Fight between Matt Cardona and Mance Warner…But the true highlight of the entire night was the eight man tag team match between the Rascalz and Order 4.

High flying action combined with some good storytelling, hilarious moments and yes that moment of Elijah dragging Mustafa Ali out of the building with a horse helps to make this show a good way close out the year for TNA.

#2. Emergence

This year’s Emergence event is notable for being the show where all the champions retained their titles, that said Emergence did give us some incredible action and some iconic moments peppered throughout.

The show kicked off in style with Leon Slater retaining his X Division Title against Cedric Alexander thus setting the tone for all the matches that followed. The Elegance Brand were victorious in four way match for the Knockouts Tag Titles, Steve Maclin and Jake Something had a hoss fight for the ages for the TNA International Championship, The Hardys were able to put away the Rascalz in tag title action and Trick Williams defeated Moose to keep his TNA World Championship.

Outside of the title bouts, Matt Cardona picked up the upset victory over Mustafa Ali, First Class defeated Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers of the System, and Mike Santana ended Sami Callihan’s in-ring career following a Baltimore Street Fight with the former world champion leaving his boots in the middle of the ring.

An overlook but still impressive show from the good folks of TNA Wrestling.

#1. Turning Point

When you realize this show came less than 24 hours after TNA’s first episode back on the air since Bound For Glory a month prior and the fact that matches were hastily booked and not to mention the backlash TNA suffered following Frankie Kazarian’s win of the TNA World Title over Mike Santana on that very same episode…It’s amazing this show was as great as it was.

Outside the main event which saw Maclin and Santana beat Kazarian and Nic Nemeth in a tag team match, most of the matches on this card at little too no storylines attached to it, and yet somehow it all worked out.

Quite simply, every match delivered from the opening Knockouts World Title match, Luna versus Hartwell in a No DQ match, the multi person tag matches, the X Division Title match heck even AJ Francis versus BDE were all impressive.

Sure the night ended with NXT stars causing mayhem, but the rest of the night was great even if everything going into was made at the last second.
