Being a college student without a budget or assistant surely slows my process, but I make it work. You do not need fancy equipment and a gigantic set design to execute stellar photographs. Improvisation on location using cheap mirrors and homemade smoke balls can create stunning effects in your final photograph. You just need to experiment with them to make it work. It’s a bit like a freeze-frame magic show.
