Memory Lane: August 2009
I took these pictures for a good friend of mine, Craig Harley, for fun and also cause what musician doesn’t want promotional images they can just pull out when needed.
These photographs are the very first ones I did with him and would be the start of a collaboration that would span over the next four years. Still to this day these are some of my favourite photographs I have ever taken and if you catch me after too much to drink and have wifi handy, I may just pull these out and show you, and explain to you what inspired me and how far I have come creatively since then.
It’s always important at an artist to look back on your work and see what worked and what didn’t, see what you could of improved on and take note for your next project. Always reevaluate and improve because you never stop learning in this industry.
I also just want to thank him for all his support over the years, even when I thought I couldn’t do this anymore, when I lost my passion for photography for a while, he helped pick me back up and told me I could do this. Cause on top of learning and improving one of the most important things you need in this world is friends.
