Buffalo Bills @ Jacksonville Jaguars
The first quarter was slow; no one could make much headway, but the Buffalo Bills did manage a field goal (3 – 0)
Within the first minute of the second quarter, the Jaguars get a touchdown and the extra point (3 – 7). The Bills are ready to bring it to the Jags, but after a fumble, a turnover happens. The Jags have possession again, but not for long. This is a scrappy first half with possession going backwards and forwards quickly. After a 92-yard drive, the Bills finally get a touchdown and the 1-point conversion, but Josh Allen is hobbling off the field (10 – 7). Unfortunately, at the end of the first half, a 45 yard feild goal is a rare miss from Cam Little.
The second half starts, and Josh Allen has been cleared to continue playing. He has been taking some hard hits. After a long drive, the Bills take a field goal, which extends their lead by 3 (13 – 10). The rest of the third quarter is full of hard hits but no more points on the board.
This last quarter is going to be intense, and both teams are going to deliver. The combination of Lawrence and Washington gets the Jaguars their second touchdown of the game. They also will get the extra point (13 – 17). How do the Bills retaliate? Slowly, making their way down the field for a touchdown and conversion. The Bills are in the lead with less than 10 minutes of the game left (20 – 17).
The last five minutes of this game is incredible, with a phenomenal touchdown and conversion from the Jaguars putting them in the lead (20 – 24). Josh Allen has less than two minutes left of this game and is determined to win. With three timeouts and a touchdown and conversion, the Bills lead (27 – 24).
