WTL FINAL: David Finlay & Juice Robinson vs Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa

This is a rematch from the Tokyo Dome in 2020, last time it was for the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, this time for the chance to face and win the titles off of the current champions Taichi, and Zack Sabre Jr.  If Finjuice win they will have won the tournament in back to back years but if G.o.D win they will have achieved everything you can do apart from win the tag belts at WK, is 2021 the year they finally achieve that dream and become the most decorated team in the history of New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Fin juice dominate the first 5 min of the match, with the help of the Young Lions and the referee, Jado is kicked out from the ring side area, putting the G.o.D at a disadvantage but not for long as Tama Tonga  begins targeting the shoulder of David Finlay.  There is a good healthy back and forth between both teams, with Finjuice getting the upper hand  before Jado come back to distract the referee and allow G.o.D to beat Juice down with some kendo sticks.   Towards the end they both start hitting big tag team moves, a Doomsday Device is set up by Juice and Finlay, Tanga Loa knocks Finlay off the top robe, distracting the ref and allowing for KENTA to run in and hits Juice over the head allowing for G.o.D to hit the Super Power Bomb.

Match Time: 22m 15s

WINNER: Tama Tonga via Super Power Bomb.

G.o.D are your WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2020 CHAMPIONS

BOSJ FINAL: Hiromu Takahashi vs El Desperado

El Desperado wears a white gear to the ring; this is a common thing for wrestlers to do before big important matches on their carer.  They first met as young lions in 2010 and ten years later the two of them are again together but this time in the finals for the Best of the Super Jrs.  There last match on 18th November was the best match of the whole tournament this year and the final will live up to the hype, these two men create beautiful stories within the ring, both evenly matched but Despy has never been praised and focused on in the same way Hiromu has.

The two of them fight inside and outside of the ring, with El Desperado having the upper hand on the outside and focusing on Hiromu’s knee, which he targeted earlier in the match, to slow down Hiromu.  The two of them have amazing in-ring chemistry and an even back and forth through the whole match makes you wonder who could possibly win this year, Hiromu, to become a two time champ, or Despy, to win for the first time and finally be recognised as the amazing singles star we all know he is.

After a lot of cheating, red shoes being thrown in the corner and Hiromu taking a low blow, Hiromu has enough and tears at the mask of El Desperado, as if in an act of defiance, Despy squares up to Hiromu and takes his mask off.  El Desperado is now laid bear for all to see and to reference there first ever match.

This is a match that needs to be seen to be believed and you should go watch it right now.

Match Time: 30m 14s

WINNER: Hiromu Takahashi via TIME BOMB Ⅱ.

After the Bell: Hiromu wants to fight someone, before he faces the IWGP junior heavyweight champion, the winner of the Super J-Cup

Hiromu Takahashi is your BEST of the SUPER Jr. 27 CHAMPION
