This has been a long time coming. Stew is someone I’d consider a good friend online. She’s the kind of person I’d go over, hang out at her house (though mostly for the dogs, but don’t tell her), tell her to clean her damn room, etc. She’s very outgoing and streams semi-regularly on Twitch. Usually at least one day a week. She’s on almost all social media platforms that I can think of as StewpidSenpai, except YouTube which is just stewpid. I highly recommend checking out her YouTube channel where you can learn more about the person behind the screen. If you ever watch a stream and see a little blur shoot by in the background, that’s probably one of her rescues. Stew is a fantastic cosplayer as well, as you’ll see a few shots below I stole blatantly from her IG. Stew’s schedule can be found on her discord, which is linked in her Twitch profile. So, months later, here are the questions I finally got her to answer after 400 years!

When did you first decide that you wanted to do OF content?

I decided to do OF content in 2021.

Was it a choice of “I want to do this” or “I need to pay the bills”?

I chose to do Onlyfans because I saw many of my peers having success with OF and wanted to capitalize on it. When I started OF I didn’t use it for any sexual content. I used it as an exclusive content page where I posted full or extended photo sets of shoots that I did.

I was working full-time, so it wasn’t for the money. It was just another avenue to diversify my content. As a creator, it’s important to have yourself on many platforms.

How has your content changed from day 1 until now?

My content on OF has changed a LOT. Like I said, originally it was a place where I just posted extra content. I was very shy and hardly posted even a sliver of booty cheek. I was also in a relationship at the time with a partner who was very against the idea of me doing OF and he was approving everything I posted. Since 2021 my content has changed a lot! I am very confident in my body and the sexual side of myself to post the content that I do now. I don’t do fully nude content or pornography, but I do post lewd and sexy content.

The internet is a toxic place, has your streaming community changed since you started content, or did you do the content before you became a Twitch streamer?

Twitch streaming was my first platform for content creation. My audience has changed throughout the years, however, I am pleased to say that I still have some friends and fans who have been with me since day 1.

If you’re open to it, what’s something that’s affected you since you started doing content, maybe something that sort of made you think “I don’t want to do this…”

I am a person with a strong personality so haters online never affect me. I have received many hateful comments and messages in my time being a content creator, including but not limited to things like death threats, sexual assault threats, insults, etc. These people can usually be dealt with by ignoring and blocking.

There have been two situations that HAVE affected me like you’re asking about. There was an IRL one and an online one. Social media platforms heavily discriminate against SWers, or even just girls that post semi-lewd content. We get shadow-banned, flagged, or even have our accounts completely removed even if we do nothing wrong. I’ve had my Instagram account banned for “impersonating” myself. I’ve had multiple TikTok accounts banned for violating community guidelines even though I’m just doing a trending dance without any skin showing! I’ve had Instagram remove MANY of my posts, even simple ones like a smiling selfie. There is no real reason for it. That’s extremely frustrating especially when you work for years to build a following and they can remove it overnight for no reason, and they have NO customer service support to help you.

I cannot have a bio on my Instagram. Every time I put ANY information in my Instagram bio, regardless of what it is, Instagram flags it as inappropriate. That is extremely ridiculous and unfair to me. I do feel targeted by platforms sometimes. I feel that my posts and accounts are very mild compared to others. Those situations can make me want to quit sometimes, like losing an account with 30k followers overnight for no reason. Getting zero help for the situation, just having to accept it and try again. That can be extremely de-motivating.

Another situation that happened IRL that made me question things was when my accounts started getting spread around my previous workplace.

It was a male-dominated workplace and once my account started getting passed around, I was all of a sudden being constantly pulled into HR to get told how distracting I was and how my wardrobe was suddenly inappropriate for work. I suddenly wasn’t allowed to wear certain clothing items that other girls were still allowed to wear. Also, there was a situation where a coworker of mine had a boyfriend who also worked there and started lowkey stalking me. He would make inappropriate references to things I had posted in front of other coworkers. He also started physically making me uncomfortable by touching my foot, caressing my thigh, etc. I blocked him on all my platforms but he would continue to text and call me in the middle of the night even after I left that job. I had to block his phone number too after that.

You do not do full nude content like some do. Do people give you a lot of crap for it?

YES, SO MUCH. I do as much as possible to make it crystal clear that I do not offer fully nude content. It’s in my bio, it’s in my pinned post, it’s in my welcome message, it’s in my rules post AND it’s in my FAQ. Usually, I don’t mind answering people when they still ask me even after that, however, I have a problem when people send me an angry message accusing me of “scamming them” by not being fully nude. I put the information EVERYWHERE, yet some people still get mad at ME when they buy something and it’s not nude, despite all the information available saying exactly what I do and don’t show.

Another situation that bothers me is when people ask if I do XYZ and I say no, but then they continue to ask me over and over. For example, if someone asks me if I do nude content, I say no. They then ask how much will I do it for. I tell them I’m not offering it for any price. A week goes by and they ask again, and the cycle repeats. I hate having to repeat myself on what I offer and what I don’t. Usually, I reply the first time with the information and ignore the rest of those messages if they continue to ask the same thing or if they keep asking “When are you going to do XYZ”. Some people don’t know how to respect boundaries and think they can just haggle me to do something.

What’s the worst request you’ve gotten as a content creator?

The worst request I’ve gotten, I prefer not to get into specifics but, the general idea was it was a very racist concept involving slavery. That person was blocked immediately. I do not kink shame, but I will NEVER participate in anything harmful like a racist, homophobic, or transphobic “fantasy”.

Do you enjoy what you do?

Yes, I do enjoy what I do! I know you’ve heard a lot of my grievances from the previous questions, however, at the end of the day the positive experiences make it all WORTH IT! My positive experiences doing content will always far outweigh the negative! I’m extremely blessed and grateful for the amazing community I have. I have an awesome community of supporters and also a great circle of friends that I’ve made all thanks to this!

Something you told me, is that some models treat OF as business only and pretend to string people along, like they feel something for them. What’s your opinion on this practice? Also, let’s be clear, OF is a business for people, so no judgment towards anyone.

I would never judge another creator for the way they run their platform, nor say that any way is right or wrong. I just personally think it is morally wrong to engage with your fan base in a parasocial manner to make them believe you are in a relationship with them or to make them believe they have a chance to be with you for real. I would never do that. That is just MY morals. I would never hate on a creator who does do that, because it’s a business tactic and I do respect that. Personally I just do not agree with that tactic and I think it falls into a moral grey area. It can be very dangerous for the creator, and possibly very harmful emotionally for the buyer.

You have a job, as well as Twitch, as well as content creation. How do you avoid burnout?

Burnout is unavoidable. I would love to eliminate the notion that there is some key formula to balancing your life enough to never experience burnout. Truthfully, burnout is just a part of the process. I think the best way to deal with or avoid burnout is to

  1. Take breaks as needed and
  2. Try to bring variety into your schedule and content. It’s good to keep your body and mind rested by taking breaks. This will give you much more inspiration and energy to create. Content creators are notorious for “the grind” and never taking breaks. This leads to a lot of burnout! A lot of us tend to fear falling into irrelevancy and being forgotten if we dare to give ourselves a break. Now for the creators who refuse to take a break, variety is your best bet! Don’t do the same thing all the time! Try new ideas, play different games on stream, or just change things up! Keeping things changing will help stimulate the creative mind so you suffer less boredom and burnout.

Do you tend to keep your personal life private when people ask about things, like relationships for example? Or are you pretty open?

I keep my personal life fairly private. I don’t even have any personal social media. I don’t keep things a secret, many long-time community members know plenty about my personal life! I’m the most open usually on my Twitch because the conversation is always live and flowing. I do think it’s important as a creator to have the majority of your personal life kept fairly private though.

I found it very interesting that Stew mentioned “Parasocial”. It’s something almost all content creators go through at some point in their career. It’s really wrong, so why do some people think that it’s OK to do this on a platform? They don’t like it when it’s done to them, yet it’s ok when they do it to others? It’s really a double edged sword. On one hand, you need to make money and sometimes do things that are morally gray. Say you have a disability that keeps you from a regular job, so you do this content. But you’re not making enough to pay the bills. When does it become OK to wade into those waters? In my, personal opinion as a person who’s dealt with it, the answer is never. But for some, they feel it’s ok for whatever reason. Agree or disagree, it pays the bills.

Please keep in mind, sex work like OnlyFans is work. For those that disagree, ask yourself this. Do the artists and performers on OF get paid? Yes? How is that different from your job? You do something, you get paid. They do something, they get paid. Think of that next time you go “omgwtfbbqlulomegalol you have an OF your opinion is garbage!” on twitter. Before we part, I had one more question for Stew. I was hoping to bait her in, but she was too smart:

Who is your best twitch mod and why is it Riley?

All of my Twitch mods are awesome. Twitch would not be the same without our moderators. I’m truly grateful for my mod team! Riley, Stephen, Coolkiller, and Moski! You guys are the best.

(We all know she wanted to say Riley was the best, but just had to be fair 😉 )
