Chelsea Green
No one, and I mean NO ONE, deserves something like this more than Chelsea. She has put her entire being into this industry, with two broken hands and two releases from WWE. She’s now a two-time Women’s United States champion and the current AAA Mixed Tag champion with Ethan Page.
Chelsea is great as a comedic character, but she’s too good to just be that; she has to be something serious. Even if she won the Royal Rumble in a comedic way, reminiscent of Santino’s final two appearances, and got built as a serious contender. The Secret Hervice gimmick is class, sad to see no Piper, but this gives Chelsea a chance to go on her own and become the tippy top of the SmackDown women’s division.
The women’s divisions both need a kick up the ass, and a worthy winner of the Rumble will do that as we head to Mania. Neither champion has been on tv all that much recently, so we need a solid run and a wonderful story built from here.
