L&O: Nazis threaten Judge Candice Bergen — ...These Are Their Stories

Amanda Anderlee is a New York Supreme Court judge in Manhattan. Under New York State’s archaic judicial nomenclature, the “Supreme Court” is a trial-level court and not the highest court in the state.

Candice Bergen began her career as a fashion model, appearing on the cover of Vogue before making her screen debut in the film The Group. She is most well-known for her work in the Academy Award-winning film Gandhi. She also starred in Miss Congeniality and Sweet Home Alabama before becoming Judge Amanda Anderlee on Law & Order: Trial by Jury.

After the show was cancelled, Bergen went on to appear in 84 episodes of Boston Legal. Her most recent TV role was in an episode of Shrinking in 2026, while her last film role was in 2023 in Book Club: The Next Chapter.
