Here at Lace Em Up, we like to scout the next footballing megastar and today we will be discussing 10 footballers who could be. Honorable mentions go out to Levi Colwill, Benjamin Sesko, Ricardo Pepi, and Matheus Soli who have all been tearing it up for their respective teams. For now, let’s get into the top 10.
#10. Pablo Gavi

Pablo Gavi is already making big waves at Barcelona contributing two goals and five assists in eight games. Xavi is showing faith in La Masia the Barcelona youth academy and Gavi and Pedri seem to be the next Iniesta and Xavi in a sense, with Pedri being the more attacking flair based Iniesta style player with Gavi being the more defensive minded Xavi. With the amount of game time, Pedri got last season at both club and international levels Gavi could have a breakthrough season next year.
#9. Endrick Felipe

It’s been a while since a Brazilian youngster has lit up the footballing world and brought such hype about him, the newest player in this batch is Endrick Felipe. The 15 year old who is described as being a force of nature, scoring six goals in seven games in the prestigious Cophina tournament. With teams such as Barcelona, Manchester City, and Real Madrid after the 15 year old with a price tag of 45 million already tagged to his name, the future could be bright for this South American superstar.

A young English talent coming out of Liverpool’s academy, we’ve heard that before. Kaide Gordon has lit up Anfield since he made his debut in a FA Cup game agaisnt Shrewsbury. He looked confident and agile at such a young age, Juergen Klopp described young Kaide as an “outstanding talent” which is a phrase he doesn’t use for just any player. Kaide seems to be one of a new batch of young talent coming out on Anfield.
#7. Rayan Cherki

A new talented Frenchmen coming out of Lyon he usually goes very well with the likes of Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena. Both have come out of the Lyon Academy so Rayan Cherki has a lot to live up to. Providing five goals in four Europa League games the Frenchman seems to be on the right track. There is a feeling he might need to leave Lyon like Benzema if he wants to hit world-class heights and if he does this tantalising Frenchman will have the world at his feet.
#6. Carney Chukwuemeka

Carney Chukwuemeka is a new talent on the Premier League scene having not long made his debut for The Villains aka Aston Villa. What he lacks in experience he brings in flair and talent, having knocked up an assist for the main team, while also shining at the u23 level. Scoring two goals and getting two assists in five games. With the CEO saying Carney is the best 16-year-old he’s seen play football, his stock will be sure to rise in the years to come.
