Roman Reigns
The boring choice, but for star power, the safest choice.
It currently seems the most unlikely, as WWE has decided to scrap Reigns vs Rhodes III after Cody dropped the title to Drew on SmackDown. We wouldn’t put it past WWE to decide to go down this route and put Roman back in the main event of Wrestlemania for it to sell tickets, but it’s just something we don’t want to see because no one will really benefit from it.
Roman doesn’t need a title; the holders, Punk or Drew, will look weak and won’t benefit from this decision and the titles themselves need to be defended consistently. Roman is an attraction; he needs to be used in a way that gets the crowd off their feet for him, and winning the Rumble isn’t the way to go. Despite this, you can’t argue with his star power and the attention that winning the Royal Rumble puts on the company.
